Dear Katie,
I'm so sorry that your love story was cut so tragically short :-( I know "they" say that time heals but the amount of time is different for everyone. Your closure (if there is ever such a thing), or maybe it's peace rather than closure, will come when you are ready and you'll recognize when it's right for you. Maybe it's not goodbye but "see you later"...

I just finished giving this "recipe" to someone on here and I thought I'd share it with everyone just in case it helps if you're having a bad day/moment.
Tina's top mood improving ideas...
1. take a dance break - turn the music up LOUD and just shake what your mama gave you for even 5 mins...this is the ultimate mood repair for me
2. if you are working/studying, turn on some background music if you can study/work with it on
3. this one is esp. for the girls - eat a little dark chocolate ... -

Anytime :-) This is a great place and I love Chan for creating it (well, I adore Chan in general but that's not the point right now, lol). K so here are some mood enhancing ideas:

Kids mess up and challenge parents but that's all a part of learning so don't be too hard on yourself. For a guy your age, it's says alot about the person you are that you are so aware of the sacrafices your mom makes and all the ways she shows her love. I think she has a pretty great son on her hands - and she knows it :-)

It will be worth your wait, I promise! I've seen it twice now and I actually prefered the movie to the book, which is rare for me. Then again, I'm a little biased because I adore Channing Tatum and I feel that his performance in this movie makes the character of John Tyree jump right into your heart. I hope you get to see it soon!!!!

I've been making an effort to read as many of the posts as I can - they are all really touching, inspiring, some sad. I realized that there are many people on here with a loved one in the military, some serving overseas as we speak. I'm also trying to post my love and/or gratitude everyday and I think that my post today is to say thank you to all of the soldiers out there for doing what they do. As a military brat, I understand how much courage and selflessness our soldiers have and I am appreciative ...
