After a horrible couple weeks at work one of the residents on my wing at the nursing home told me, "I really appreciate you because you are more patient with me than my own family." Completely breaking my heart but reminding me exactly why I do this every day. I love you for that.

I am a CNA at a nursing home and my world would not be the same without my residents. There is a sweet old man on my wing who suffers from dementia. He is often found wandering the halls missing articles of clothing... most often his pants. His teeth are frequently found in his pocket and is heard at all hours of the day (and night) yelling random questions at the top of his lungs.
