It really was a great movie.

*The picture was taken when I was 13, and he was nearly 97. He died 9 months later.
3 years and one week ago, on Super Bowl Sunday 2007, my best friend died.
He told me stories.
Stories that will stay with me forever.
He made me smile.
Smiles that, I'm sure, made him last a little bit longer.
He took me fishing.
I can still feel that thing trying to flop back to the pond... but he helped me pull it in.
He prayed.
