For my love of cake :-) My daughter and I made this cake today just for fun. It combines her love of Metal Mulisha, and my love of sugar-LOL So I thought I'd share. It's my first time using fondant, and I must say, it's much easier than I expected!

So, I've been away from PTL for a couple of weeks. I guess sometimes life gets in the way. It's been crazy here, things I'd rather not talk about, but all is well for the time being, and I hope all my friends are doing well! I do miss you and I think about you everyday!!

Thank you Anne and Shelly for my postcards! They are beautiful and I will post them shortly. Unfortunately I had a little family emergency yesterday and haven't had time to even be on my computer, but all is well now and they'll be posted soon! Thanks again, so happy to be part of the postcard exchange!

Ohhh Kasey, I'm so jealous!! You have to tell me how it is. I watched The Departed last night on FX and every commercial was one for Inception. I love Leo, and that one looks so good!!

Thank you :-) The pain really isn't that bad, most people hurt worse because they psych themselves out and get all tense, that's when they hurt. I've learned if you just relax it's not bad at all.

Jonny is going to give me this tattoo around my ankle. It's the notes to Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys. It's the song that reminds me of my dad. I've been trying to decide what I could get in memory of him, and this weekend while camping my sister played this song. She knows it always reminds me of him, and that's when it hit me. Anne, yes, Nevada is basically all desert, but there's a lake and camp grounds about 3 1/2 hours north of me, next to the Utah border, so that's where we go. It's surrounded by mountains and is really beautiful! And Carrie is right, you have to have a s'more, they are heavenly!
Carrie, while it was 110 here in town it was only about 80 in Eagle Valley so it was nice and cool, we had cloud cover most of the trip and even some rain, the weather was perfect!
