I love this picture.
All the heartbreak, the tears, and the sorrow- they matter. But right now, in this very instant, on this day, they don’t. Because you’re here.
Ohh, i love that picture! <3
And your post is really nice. I agree 100% [=
Hey, everyone! It is my parents' 20th Anniversary today! (:
(I would post a picture, but i don't have one of the two of them.)
My dad is currently in Afghanistan, so they wont get to celebrate their anniversary together. :(
This is kind of a short post, but I felt like sharing. Happy 20TH Anniversary, Mom and Dad!

I want to be a singer. I know I have to get over me fear of being in front of people, but it's so hard. I texted my friend an audio file of me singing to day. It was extremely nerve-wracking, but she said i sounded good, which is such a relief. :) I just thought I'd share a dream of mine. :p Maybe someday, it'll be a reality.
Since it's 2 am, I think I'll get off now. :)
Goodnight!

He is in afghanistan, and he should be coming home sometime around November or something, we're not sure yet.
I'm glad my dad isn't infantry either. my uncle was an infantry soldier, but sadly he was killed in 2007 :(
my dad, he is an E7, which is pretty solid, i guess, but when you hear of soldiers on TV or something, you always hear of the higher ranks. and that's just not realistic, you know??? :p
I am grateful for people like your fiance, as well as my Dad.
Some people think it would be easy, but it is hard having some one you love a million miles away for a year or more (even though our situations are different).
I hope you and your fiance share a happy life together, and I hope he stays safe for the rest of his tour. (:

That's my dad. (:
He's in the Army and is currently deployed. He isn't a a Colonel or an Officer or any other really high rank, like you always hear recognition for. He is just an ordinary soldier, living an ordinary military life. My family lives it with him, which means we haven't lived in one place longer for three years due to his bosses needing him in some other state for some other job. Moving all the time is very difficult, and sometimes I absolutely hate being a military brat, but I love my Dad, and ...
now she has created an account for this site. (:
I always hear of people feeling like their life is falling apart because the person they love is no longer a part of their life, whatever the reason. I know that nobody should have to feel that much pain, but that it happens anyway. I've also come to the realization that some people feel pain not because they have lost their love, but because their love hasn't appeared in their life yet. So many people have a fantasy of what love is like, and wait for something that will never come. Love isn't like in the movies ...
I miss this town more than anything.... </3
Oh, thank you! Maybe that will help her, even if just a little.
And yes, faith is definitely something you don't want to lose. Everything will turn out right in the end.
