I lost my cousin to a car accident two years ago Feb. 6 2008
They say death is a part of life, and you shouldn't mourn, but celebrate the life lead by that person or the memories you once shared. It pains me to say that I didn't get to say goodbye or tell you that I love you once more. The hole in my heart where you once filled aches everyday, holiday and birthday you are not here in physical. I took this photo in Key West.
I remember this day like it was yesterday. It was the day after you left to go back to base in Germany. I sat out there on that dock for hours thinking about how much i missed you already, and how empty my heart felt with your absence. This picture, in this very moment came the clarity that I loved you more than anything and for that brief moment time stood still and that ache in my chest ceased because i knew you loved me too.
