I saw this in Rockefeller Center during fleet week in 08. Since then I have joined the Navy. I am in LOVE with my decision. And seeing this photo that I took has made me even more proud of my decision.

You know, I'm 19 years old. I have enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and can not wait to see Dear John. I have read the book, and cried for a few hours before I finished it. I have to admit, I'm afraid to see the film, it just makes it even more real to me that the military is not kind to relationships. Your family did not come with your seabag and the military always comes first, noone ever tells you that. And to see the movie right before I ship off to bootcamp, will hurt a ...
