  • I did a post on here about a month ago about my grandmother and breast cancer and being in remission, and I told you guys I’d keep you updated. Well right now, just got some news. I feel like this is a really good and easy place to let it out…

After that post, she had been going to the doctors to get some check ups because a couple things were a little weird, different reasons I’m not going to go into. Well one of the doctors found some suspicious cells in her bladder.

    I just got out ...

  • One last post for right now :)

I want to post my love for all the soldiers, marines, and everyone else involved in war.

My cousin just got married to her boyfriend in December, and he is now training to be a soldier. After they got pregnant with their baby (who's almost a year now) they decided the best thing to do was for Dave to go into the army. He's not home often, was home for the wedding and about two weeks after that, and is now back in training somewhere in the midwest. (I forget exactly where ...

November 3, 2010, Mommom passed away. The last time I saw her was the night before. Her funeral was that Saturday (after she died) and it was really hard. My cousins, Jess and Heather got up to say something from all us cousins, and I was fine during the whole funeral until Jess started talking and crying. I miss her a lot, even though I hadn’t really seen her a lot before that Tuesday. She was just on breathing tubes, they basically took her off her ...

    Anyways..

Hey PTL people :) The other day I posted about me and my mom, and how she has cancer. I mentioned that I know many people close to me who have been affected or sadly passed away due to cancer, too. Well here’s another person very close to me who has been affected by cancer who I don’t think I mentioned in my last post.

My mom’s mom, so my grandmother, also ...

  • This time of year is very special to my family. In February, about 7 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer. She was very lucky, and after going through treatments, three surgeries and all kinds of medications, she's healthy and in remission. Since she was diagnosed, I have become a lot closer to her than I already was. We are best friends and do everything together.
Yet while my mom is lucky enough to still be here, healhy and happy, I have known since then many other people close to me who have been ...
