I love this!! My favorite time in the morning is when my 3 year old comes downstairs and says 'Good morning Mommy!!' in that excited voice and runs to give me a hug. Kids are the most amazing gift. Eternaly rewarding and worth every minute.

Well I would say it gets easier, and some days it seems like it. Others feel like it's the first time all over again. Im a fan of shop therapy, but that also gets me in trouble. I try to fill my house when he's gone. And then he gets home and I just say we need a bigger house. lol. Just remember it doesnt last forever. Have an amazing day!

Thank you everyone! I have my low days and high days. Right now is tough because we are at the end and his Homecoming dates keep getting pushed back further. It seems like whenever we get a week away it goes back up to two. But we are almost done and I have my banners up. Just waiting for the word so I can blow up the balloons and decorate the windows!

I love you Kate! We grew up together fighting but who didnt?!? But like everyone said you get close when you get older, and now we get to experience our kids together, our Army trials and rewards. I thank you for being there for me and am proud you are my sister. I LOVE YOU

I found this and it sums up my life as an Army wife. I am so proud of my husband, who is about to come back from Afghanistan in the next few weeks. With other wives support we all benefit. So for all of us out there, I love you too!
