i got bumped from the housing lottery on campus for next year so i am on a waitlist.
i decided to start looking into other options, just in case. i stumbled upon a building that is LITERALLY about 30 steps off campus for a little less than half the price. so, i put in my application :) and today i attended an open house to make sure i would like to live there. i absolutely loved it--the residents focus on really building a community and that's something i feel i am lacking in right now (at school, anyways).

Hey PTL,
I am working on a study abroad plan :) Hopefully, I will be at the Universiteit Leiden (in the Netherlands) for the Spring of 2012. Because it is so central, I plan on taking weekend trips to other countries and experiencing Europe while I am there. I have never been outside of the United States (actually, I have never been outside of the Eastern seaboard haha) so I am EXTREMELY excited about this trip and learning about all of these other cultures!
