I saw a Valentine's Day card at work today...
"I think my heart belonged to you even before we first met. It was just waiting for you to find it."
Thank you for the smile =)
Rooting for them today!
2 years ago to high school classmates were also in a horrible car accident. One had to be air lifted and the other taken by ambulance and put in ICU.
Eddie was put on life support and let go 2 days later. Scotty eventually recovered and he's doing well now.
It was such a horrible thing. They were both graduating in 2 months. And prom was coming up soon. The whole school was devistated. Though my friends and myself had already graduated we still attended the vigil at school and the wake and funeral.
Kids still write on Eddie ...
Thank you =) This is several summers back. I haven't jumped in ages and I miss it. The horse I have now was just backed under saddle for a bit in July and getting the winter off and managed to tear a ligament in his front leg (it's always something with him...)
Unfortunately I sold her last spring. She was an amazing first horse.
Thanks again!!!
This deserves a huge AWWWWWW. How cute is he?! Is he a Golden?
"Horses lend us the wings we lack."
The person I am today is because of this horse right here. She taught me never to fear. She taught me anythiing was possible. And she taught me the reality of blood, sweat and tears. I showed her love and she showed it right back. There is no better feeling then the raw power of a horse running beneath you and the wind blowing in your face. There is no greater bond then that between a girl and her horse. And no greater love.
Captain Canada?? I am truly jealous of you now! That must be amazing.
Beautiful horse! I always wanted a gray...ended up with bays. Really nice to see someone else post their horse =)
Nice to see I'm not the only person to post about her horse(s) =) Kudos to you for rescuing. Horses just have a way of making life livable when things get down. "In riding a horse we borrow freedom"-Helen Thomas
He's a pretty color. Too bad I can't see his face. I bet he's got an adorable face =)
This goes out to all the men and women serving. I met my fiance right after he came back from his 15 month tour in Iraq. His cousin Matt came home early and spent a great deal of time in the hospital and he's being medically discharged shortly. He took shrapnel to his leg. Matt's younger brother Chris is serving in Afghanistan right now. He's infantry like his brother.
God bless our troops. Love you all.
Just got home from seeing Dear John. Channing and Amanda did such an amazing job. And once again Channing did the military proud with his performance. I hate crying in public and try hard not to but a tear did get past. It was very hard keeping it together. The movie made me miss my John so much.
Thank you, Channing, for another amazing performance.
Isn't it the most amazing feeling?! Feel so good to look down at your left hand and see that ring sparkle. Some days I still can't believe I'm engaged.
Congrats on your engagement!! And WOW what a ring!! It's beautiful
