Medium: Gouache on Canvas.
I created this for my Principles of Design II class as a Final Project. The assignment was to choose an object or person and to paint using Gouache mixed with a glazing medium.
I chose to do a portrait of my great grandfather because three months ago he passed away, and his wife, Ofelia, my great grandmother, has not been the same ever since.
I hope in giving this gift, I am able to bring some happiness back to her life.
