I find the city so inspiring. I lived there this summer and plan on moving back in June. Two weeks ago I was there on a weekend visit. I was feeling very torn between some major decisions I was making. The messages the city gave me were small gifts of reassurance and love. Your site is something beautiful and much needed. Great job.

Channing this was absolutely beautifully done. The sparkling lights on the trees made the city look beautiful. Love is light. It is radiant. The trees reflected that!. You even found a "beautiful" graffitti message! haha. Amazing.
I thought the quality was so much greater than "crap" as you said - the fact that you DID shoot it with your phone made it more meaningful to me...more pure and spontaneous. I loved the music and agree that the end where you spoke was the icing on the cake. It wrapped everything up in a wonderful package.
I know what you mean when you say "you are everywhere".....even when someone is not right there physically beside you. I have felt the same way....and it becomes amazing to me to see so many drivers of cars suddenly have the face of someone I love....or if I even just see a pair of hands working somewhere....they can remind me of someone I love. It is like your brain goes into a mode where it chooses to only "see" the love....your love....and you suddenly see it everywhere! Like you did in the video here...in the beauty of the shining tree lights...in the beauty of the message on the wall....in the beauty of your words at the end.

Channing, I just watched the video you made. I guess in my circumstances I don't understand the part about follow your heart and be stupid. I feel like I have been following my heart and thus is where it got me. I love reading everyone's posts because it gives me hope. I have been in a relationship for about 2 years now.It was great in the beginning, It recently turned into an abusive one, mentally and physical, and I hate the way I feel most of the time. I hate that I have to wear clothes that will cover the marks. I have a 9 year old little boy that means the world to me so i wonder, why can't I get the strength or courage to leave? I feel like such a bad mom at times because I am supposed to be his protector from these types of surroundings and I am so scared myself. I sometimes get to the door and will be ready and then he threatens me some more and I feel scared to leave or that my son will have to see him hurt his mommy one more time. I am currently in school for Registered Nursing and I have so many goals i want to accomplish but I feel like I am being held back from them so that he can maintain control. I keep trying to hang on to what used to be in the beginning and it seems that it is getting me no where.I wonder often what I may have did in my past life to get the hand i am being delt now? Why do I deserve this? I can not wait to see the movie this Friday. Just watching the trailer made me cry because I wish there was someone out there like that for me or that my heart could experience this good kind of love. The way it is supposed to feel. For now I hold on to the love that I have for my son and thank him for keeping me going. Thanks for this movie and making this website. I hope to write my REAL love story on here someday! I Love you Channing for doing this for all of us! Maybe I will be able to look at the saying differently one day. Until I just try to keep my head up and love my son with my whole heart!
